Our diverse duties include design, in-house adjustment, test operation, on-site startup, and after-sales support. We prioritize the user's perspective and reflect customer feedback in our designs, as we strive to build machines that are useful on-site.

QUALITY CONTROL DEPARTMENT
MANUFACTURING GROUP

We manufacture parts for diverse machines, with a focus on forming machines. Starting with material ordering, we precisely finish metal components by processing parts primarily through welding, NC lathes, machining centers, and radial drilling machines. In this Group, we bring parts to life from design drawings using precise technical expertise.

QUALITY CONTROL DEPARTMENT

We assemble multiple parts, including parts processed by the Manufacturing Group as well as purchased parts, into completed products such as forming machines and dust removal and packing machines. By working carefully and precisely on the basis of design drawings and instruction sheets, we support the manufacture of WAKITEC's high-quality products. In addition to assembly, we're also responsible for machine maintenance after completion. We pay attention to every detail, playing a vital role in ensuring machine quality and stable operation.

Making Customers Glad They Chose WAKITEC

As a member of the Engineering Department: Design Section, I'm in the position of listening to the challenges faced by our customers and proposing optimal solutions. In our development and design work, we strive to respond flexibly to customer feedback. Our stance is to always prioritize the perspectives of machine users, and incorporate them into our machines. Every day feels fresh with new challenges.

My own work focuses mainly on dust removal and packing machines. For the past four or five years, I've been working on orders for automatic packing machines in particular. I listen to the customers' specific issues, and propose machine selection and layout configurations. After multiple meetings with the customer, we receive the order, and I begin the design work. I'm also responsible for machine adjustment, test operation, delivery, on-site production supervision, and after-sales support.

A single piece of machinery results from the involvement of many people. Each one of those people feels happy when our machines solve a customer's problem, and the customer tells us they're "glad they chose WAKITEC". For us to achieve results within a limited time, it's essential for both the individual and the department to grow and develop. By incorporating diverse perspectives, we can create higher quality products. As the department continues to develop as a whole, we're able to improve our design quality further, resulting in safe, reliable, high-performance manufacturing.

Message to Prospective Employees

The only way forward is to keep sharpening your strengths: your thirst for knowledge, your specialized skills, your mental resilience and flexibilty.

If you don't put in the effort yourself, you can't expect someone else to teach you. Sometimes we all need to push ourselves to our limits. Even if you don't yet have a clear idea of your ideal job, if you choose manufacturing, why not join WAKITEC, and help us make the customer feel glad they chose us?

Aiming for Quality that Exceeds Expectations

When my previous company relocated, I started thinking about a career change. WAKITEC was a good match for my salary requirements, and I decided to join. I now work in the Manufacturing Department, where I'm responsible for can manufacturing and handle various duties including personnel management within the department. My aim is to deliver quality that exceeds expectations by enhancing the precision, durability and reliability of our products. Those moments when a product comes to life from a design drawing, or when a new product is completed, give me motivation and a sense of accomplishment. I've always enjoyed work that involves communicating with people, so I want to take on challenges in fields beyond manufacturing, keep improving my communication and management skills, and engage in an even broader sphere of work.

Message to Prospective Employees

We’re looking for people who like making things. People with curiosity and ambition, who think logically, value teamwork, and have patience and focus. Prior experience isn’t necessary. The "Behind-the-Scenes" Team Supporting the Factory Floor

I've always been interested in playing a supporting role, and felt drawn to administrative work that supports the factory floor and the whole company from behind the scenes. That's why I chose this job. I currently work in the General Affairs Department: Materials Section, where I'm responsible for the work of ordering the parts, materials, and tools needed to assemble WAKITEC's machines.

I feel motivation in my work, particularly when I see the parts I've sourced actually being used on-site to form a finished product. When I'm able to successfully coordinate even in tight deadlines, and someone on the factory floor says, “Thanks, that really helped,”, I feel glad to know that my work is truly supporting others.

Something I value in my daily work is "thinking from others' perspectives". The Materials Section communicates with most of the other departments in the company, playing a coordinating role. Instead of taking actions based on my own convenience, I try to always act with awareness of the other party's current situation and what they need.

When a machine is safely shipped to the customer within a tight delivery deadline, I feel a real sense of achievement as well as relief. In future, my goal is to become an essential coordinator, trusted not only by those on the factory floor but also by other departments. I hope to create an environment that encourages smooth communication across department boundaries, and to remain a "behind-the-scenes" supporter, enabling all our colleagues to focus on their own work with peace of mind.

Message to Prospective Employees

In the Materials Section, our work requires coordination with various departments within WAKITEC so that the necessary parts and materials can be sourced and managed with precision and speed. While it may not be a frontline role, we do satisfying work that's rewarded by people thanking us directly. If you're someone who enjoys supporting others, or you're interested in work that supports the foundation of a team, we're looking forward to hearing from you.
